A closer look

Ever wondered how Screenhog makes CP’s graphics the best on the internet? Well, here’s a closer look at how he does his brilliant work–and how he has displayed it in one of the aspects of the Medieval Party:

See how many different shades of each color Screenhog used? That’s the beauty of shading. In the portraits only seen in the Medieval Party, he greatly emphasized the shading to bring the likeness of it being painted to life. In earlier time, artists would use different shades of colors to make their paintings look right, and that’s what Screenhog did here. However, this is not the only piece of his work you’ll see the magic of shading used in, it’s all over Club Penguin! Without this, Club Penguin would not be too popular. Having said that, I would like to challenge Egaro, our newest member of CPNS, to create a penguin, or anything having to do with Club Penguin, using shading & flash, and then the same thing, with no shading. I will make one too, and you, our readers will decide which of the pictures (w/shading), mine or Egaro’s, is better, and you’ll also rate the version’s without shading. The purpose of this will be to:

• Show you how important & cool shading is as a part of Screenhog’s many techniques
• To give you something to be involved in
• And To give you something to look forward to on CPNS!

Medieval Party

The Medieval party is The latest and current party in CP. i personally like the party, Espcially the decorations and the music.They’ve added a few new and exclusive features for the party including a new room called The Treefort which you can access from climbing the ladders at The forest, A dragon In the mine shack and A freaky mirror which will answer your questions at The mountain. The new pin is located at the Coffee shop on top of the fire place, And the New item is currently located at the dock.

New Feature !

Finally, after all the Emails that Clubpenguin Staff has gotten Regarding making the inventory more organized so you don’t have to click a Zellion times to Wear a single item, They’ve decided to improve it !. The new feature would be launched in Late may.

New Feature update: Player Card

Hello Penguins!

A lot of you have mentioned that it’s really hard to find the item you’re looking for in your inventory and it can take a long time. It can get confusing too, especially for those of you with a lot of items!

I wanted to let you know that the player card inventory is being improved at this very moment! When the new features launch at the end of May, all of your clothing and accessories will be better organized and really easy to find. The team has been working really hard on a new design for the inventory–a lot of you have suggested grouping items and making separate tabs for them and I think you’ll be happy with how it turns out!

As always let us know what you think! I’ll have more info next week on the next feature!
